Abstract
During cutting of wood subsurface layers are deformed or crashed. Thes e deformations are related to the process conditions and influence fol lowing processes, e.g. lacquering or adhesion. The following article d escribes the state of technology concerning the machining effects. Pos sible measuring methodes are developed out of potential changes in woo d physics.
