The stability constants for the heterobinuclear complexes of the types
MAM', MA2M' or MAHM' formed by (i) A = L-aspartic acid (aspt) with Cu
(II)-Ni(II), Cu(II)-Zn(II) and Ni(II)-Zn(II), (ii) A = DL-4-amino-3-hy
droxybutyric acid (ahba) with Cu(II)-Ni(II) and Ni(II)-Zn(II) and (iii
) A = L-2,4-diaminobutyric acid (daba) with Cu(II)-Ni(II) and Cu(II)-Z
n(II) have been determined by computer analysis of the pH titration da
ta. The results are discussed to obtain the solution structures of the
above mixed metal complexes.
