Abstract
Extraction of molybdenum(VI) by triisodecylamine (Alamine 310) from HC lO4 solution is very poor. The presence of SCN- ion makes the extracti on quantitative from 0.2 M acid solution. Extraction of the metal by b is (2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid (Cyanex 301) is quanti tative in the lower acidity range (0.2-0.4 M). Synergism is marked in the extraction of the metal by the mixture of Cyanex 301 and Alamine 3 10.
