Abstract
Tetramethylthiuram disulphide supported on naphthalene provides a rapi d and economical method for the preconcentration of copper from variou s samples. Copper forms a complex with tetramethylthiuram disulphide s upported on naphthalene in the column at pH 4.2-7.5. The method has be en applied for the determination of copper in various alloys, syntheti c samples and environmental samples also.
