Cb. Suarez et al., ABSOLUTE INTENSITIES OF SPECTRAL-LINES IN THE Q-BRANCH OF THE CH3D ATLOW-TEMPERATURE, Spectroscopy letters, 26(8), 1993, pp. 1465-1468
This study reports the experimental measurement of absolute intensitie
s for individual lines of the Q branch in the nu2 band of CH3D near 20
00 cm-1 at low temperature. High resolution infrared spectroscopy is a
powerful tool for understanding the composition and dynamical structu
res of planetary atmospheres. In fact, CH3D has been detected in the a
tmospheres of Jupiter, Saturn and Titan, so accurate intensities for i
ndividual ro-vibrational lines are needed for determining CH3D abundan
ce and the D/H ratio in planetary atmospheres.
