Abstract
The cationic polymerization of cyclohexene oxide was initiated by redu ction of allyl sulfonium salt in the presence of ascorbyl-6 hexadecano ate and copper(II) benzoate. A redox reaction in which the copper comp ound serving as an electron carrier for the initiation step was propos ed.
