Abstract
For 20 faces, 85 subjects selected either a distinctive feature or a d istinctive trait. For faces with spectacle, the eyes were judged to be most prominent, and the people were judged to be dull and intelligent . Results are discussed in terms of the physical attractiveness stereo type.
