Abstract
The temporal characteristics of optically controlled transparencies ba sed on a vitreous-chalcogenide-semiconductor-liquid-crystal structure are investigated. The modulation frequency (25 Hz) makes it possible t o use these transparencies for entering images into coherent-optical i nformation-processing systems operating in real time.
