Abstract
Introducing a wavelength-tunable source and a wavemeter, make it possi ble to modify a conventional optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) to measure chromatic dispersion and modal interference levels in addit ion to transmission attenuation, return loss, and fiber length.
