T. Chakraborty et M. Chowdhury, LASER-INDUCED FLUORESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY IN SUPERSONIC JET AND LARGE-AMPLITUDE MOTION, Current Science, 65(4), 1993, pp. 323-332
Combining the supersonic jet technique with tunable lasers, scientists
have been able to obtain precise information on the static and dynami
c properties of molecules in their ground and excited states. The prin
ciple of the jet spectroscopies along with the application of laser-in
duced-fluorescence technique to large-amplitude vibrational motion has
been discussed.
