Abstract
Different immunohistochemical amplification systems were used to visua lise myosin in normal human hepatocytes. With biotin-streptavidin-pero xidase and immunogold silver staining, myosin was distributed along th e plasma membranes and at the bile canaliculi. With biotin-streptavidi n-rhodamine, myosin was mainly found at the bile canaliculi level, how ever with confocal microscopy, the plasma membrane fluorescent stainin g was more apparent. The staining pattern of myosin appeared to be sim ilar to that of actin in normal human hepatocytes.
