Abstract
Radical pairs are formed by photolysis of single crystals of 2,6-di-te rt-butyl-4-methylphenol (ionol) (1) or 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (2), do ped by several different molecules, and investigated by the EPR method . A possible two-hydrogen-atom transfer is discussed as the photochemi cal act.
