Abstract
Smooth removal of the Allyloxycarbonyl (Alloc) moiety from allylic est ers, carbamates and carbonates is carried out by Pd (0) catalyzed ally l transfer to diethylamine and thio derivatives as the accepting nucle ophiles. The method has been successfully used for selective deprotect ion of secondary amines and base sensitive substrates.
