Abstract
The agostic interaction in coordinatively unsaturated ruthenium comple xes [RuH(P-P)2]PF6 (P-P = 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) and ene-2,3-dihydroxy-1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (diop)) was investi gated by H-1 NMR studies. The hydrogen exchange between the agostic hy drogen in the phosphine ligand and the terminal hydride in each of com plexes is reported.
