The potentiometric, conductometric and IR spectra have been used to st
udy the complexation of Cr(III), Ni(II), Pd(II), Pt(II), Zr(IV), UO22, La(III), Ce(III), Sm(III), Th(IV) and Os(VIII) with reactive dyes. T
he stepwise and overall stability constants for complexes were determi
ned potentiometrically. The ratio of the metal: ligand was determined
conductometrically. On the other hand, the IR spectra are used to stud
y the structure of metal-ligand complexes.
