The activity and selectivity of the HZSM-5 and H-ZSM-5-5% Ga zeolite c
atalysts in propylene conversion into gasolines with high content of C
6-C-8 aromatic hydrocarbons are presented. The influence of the reacti
on temperature, propylene molar flow rate and partial pressure on the
total conversion, yield of gasoline and its composition were studied.
Reactions were carried out at 573 K and W/F = 22.4 g catalyst. h . mol
e-1, using the HZSM-5-5% Ga catalyst and different C2-C4 olefins as re
actants. The propylene conversion into gasolines on HZSM-5 zeolite cat
alysts modified by impregnation with 1% Ga. La, Y, In or Nd was studie
d under identical reactions conditions. The results were correled for
clearing up the elementary steps of the reaction mechanism.
