Infrared reflection spectra of CuInSe2 crystals are investigated for t
he polarizations E parallel to c and E perpendicular to c. Contours of
the reflection spectra are calculated and phonon parameters and diele
ctric constants are determined. The effective charges of the Cu, In, a
nd Se ions in these materials are determined. The two-phonon absorptio
n spectra in CuInSe2 are investigated and the absorption bands are ide
