Abstract
IR lines are calculated for AGN by SVMA code. IR line ratios, as tempe rature and density diagnostic of the emitting gas, show that the [S II I] lines ratio increases with shock velocity, following compression an d cooling of the gas downstream. The results are compared with observa tions and briefly discussed.
