Abstract
A 69-year-old woman was found to have a right atrial mass on transthor acic echocardiogram. Biopsy of the mass was performed using transesoph ageal echocardiography for visual guidance. Pathologic study revealed an organizing thrombus. This case illustrates the clinical utility of transesophageal echocardiography in the biopsy of right atrial masses.
