Abstract
We use QCD sum rules to determine directly the leading twist non-singl et operator matrix elements based on calculations of three-point corre lation functions in configuration space. We find a different result fr om that obtained by integrating the structure functions' expressions o btained by Belyaev and Ioffe based on calculations of four-point corre lators in momentum space. The origin of this discrepancy remains uncle ar. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
