T. Majewski, SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF RUBIDIUM AND CESIUM THROUGH THERMAL-DECOMPOSITION OF NITRITOCUPRATES(II) OF THE STRONTIUM GROUP, Chemia Analityczna, 38(2), 1993, pp. 221-229
The method is based on drying the precipitates of Rb2SrCu(NO2)6! and
Cs2SrCu(NO2)6!, at 70-degrees-C, thermal decomposition at 320-degrees
-C and determination of the loss in the mass or the amount of released
nitrogen oxides. The thermal decomposition was carried out by means o
f apparatus which allowed to record simultaneously the loss in mass an
d the released gaseous products in the course of linear rise of temper
ature. The results of analysis are calculated on the basis of the cali
bration curves of the loss of mass or conductivity, determined through
the decomposition of standard samples of caesium of rubidium compound
s.
