Abstract
The Bourgain algebra of H(infinity)(D) relative to L(infinity)(D) is s hown to be H(infinity)(D) + C(DBAR) + V, where V is an ideal of functi ons in L(infinity)(D) which vanish in an appropriate sense near the bo undary of D.
