A male topotype of Eukoenenia patrizii (Conde) is described from the g
rotta del Bue Marino (Sardinia); it is the second known specimen of th
e species, collected 35 years after the discovery of the female holoty
pe. The male holotype of a new species, Eukoenenia janetscheki n.sp. i
s also described from the vicinity of Manaus, Brazil; it is the first
species of the Order recorded from the amazonian realm. The knowledge
of the male genital area is sometimes useful to clear the taxonomy and
phylogeny of the group.
