Abstract
Increasing durations of water immersion stress were associated with in creased serum corticosterone levels, decreased severity of pentylenete trazol-induced convulsions, and increased latencies to convulse in rat s. The results were interpreted in terms of the effects of stress and pentylenetetrazol's actions on GABAergic mechanisms.
