Abstract
The dependence on the ionic strength of the stoichiometric acid-base e quilibrium constants obtained by using commercial H+ glass electrodes has been analyzed by employing Pitzer's formalism for the activity coe fficients of the species in equilibrium. Data published previously hav e been used to check the capability of these equations for representin g this type of experimental data.
