Abstract
Hemangiopericytoma of the orbit is a rare tumor with unpredictable bio logical behavior. Only about 83 cases have been reported in the Englis h language. This article reports on a primary orbital hemangiopericyto ma is that presented in an atypical fashion with recurrent orbital hem orrhage. An emergency exenteration was needed to control the hemorrhag e. Additionally, the clinical, surgical, and histologic features are d escribed, and the pertinent literature is reviewed.
