N. Peladeau et Y. Lacouture, SIMSTAT - BOOTSTRAP COMPUTER-SIMULATION AND STATISTICAL PROGRAM FOR IBM PERSONAL COMPUTERS, Behavior research methods, instruments, & computers, 25(3), 1993, pp. 410-413
SIMSTAT is a computer program that provides boot-strap confidence inte
rvals and estimates distribution parameters for 27 univariate and biva
riate statistics. Because it permits variation of the bootstrap sample
size, it is a convenient tool for research planning, allowing compari
son of power estimates and estimator precision for various estimators
and/or sample sizes. SIMSTAT also is a useful tool for studying the ro
bustness of various statistics on real-world data and may be helpful i
n teaching statistical principles.
