H. Kobayashi et al., DETERMINATION OF PESTICIDES IN RIVER WATER BY GAS-CHROMATOGRAPHY MASS-SPECTROMETRY SELECTED-ION MONITORING, Journal of chromatography, 643(1-2), 1993, pp. 197-202
A highly sensitive and specific method for the determination of trace
levels of pesticides in river water has been developed. The method is
based on reversed-phase (C18) solid phase extraction, followed by gas
chromatography-mass spectrometry-selected-ion monitoring. Recoveries a
t the 0.5- or 2.5 mug/l fortification level were between 79 and 98%. T
he detection limits were 0.05 mug/l for chlornitrofen and 0.01 mug/l f
or other pesticides.
