Abstract
In 1985-1986 the seasonal dynamics of vertical migration and distribut ion of cokroaches on oak stems in the State Nature Reseve Lindava (Wes tern Slovakia) was studied. Distribution of apterous larvae, brachypte rous females and winged males of Ectobius sylvestris was observed by m eans of traps placed in the height of 0.75 m and 4.20-5.20 m. Migratio n of Ectobius sylvestris towards tree tops was recorded from May to Oc tober.
