BIRD COMMUNITY OF WATER RESERVOIRS OF THE TRNAVA HILLY COUNTRY

In the years 1986-1990 the authoresses investigated the structure and dynamics of the bird community of ten water reservoirs in the Trnava h illy country. 59 species of water birds have been established - 44% of them were nidificants, 56% species temporarily occured. Average indiv idual density calculated on 10 ha of the area was 27,9 specimen. 8 bir d species of water reservoirs were eudominant, 7 were constant. The au thoresses compared the obtained results with the bird communities of 1 0 water reservoir of the Little Carpathians mountains.
