Abstract
Nonhysteretic M-H loops have been obtained in amorphous ribbons carryi ng ac currents. This occurs when the shift C of a M-H loop matches the coercive field H(c). Since C is associated with the pinning inhomogen eity this condition can be met for almost any ferromagnet.
