Abstract
A electrochemical model consisting of three charged species is conside red. The ions diffuse owing to concentration gradients and migrate bec ause of electric force. Reversible reaction is allowed to take place b etween these species. It is shown that, provided the total of initial charges in the electrolyte is zero, any initial distribution of specie s concentrations will converge to a unique steady state as time become s large.
