Abstract
Isolated Salmonella infections are rare. In view of the rarity, we pre sent a case of a 16-year-old patient with an endometriotic ovarian cys t where Salmonella enteritidis was isolated from aspirated material fr om the cyst. We include a review of the world literature on ovarian Sa lmonella infection from 1966 to June 1996. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science I reland Ltd.
