Abstract
The Neotropical leafhopper genus Omanagallia, new genus, with included species O. obscura, new species from Brazil, and O. elongata, new spe cies from Argentina, is described, illustrated, and placed in the leaf hopper subfamily Agalliinae. The new genus shares features of the head and wing with species of Eupelicinae, Evansiolinae, and Megophthalmin ae, but these resemblances apparently resulted from convergence.
