An expansion procedure using Chebyshev polynomials based on the El-Gen
di method [1] is proposed to solve nonlinear boundary value problems g
overning the flow of an incompressible viscous fluid in the vicinity o
f a forward stagnation point at a blunt body. This method is accomplis
hed starting with a Chebyshev approximation for the higher order deriv
atives and generating approximations to the lower order derivatives. T
he numerical solutions are presented for different cases. The results
obtained in this investigation are found to be comparable with the res
ults reached by Cheng et al. [2], Libby [3], Schlichting [4], Beckett
