A. Camon et al., PROGRESS IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A JOSEPHSON VOLTAGE STANDARD AT THE SPANISH TPA, IEEE transactions on instrumentation and measurement, 42(2), 1993, pp. 593-595
A one volt Josephson voltage standard which easily permits exchange of
Josephson junction arrays (JJA's) has been constructed and installed
at the Spanish TPA. Two different types of JJA's, Nb/NbO(x)/PbInAu fro
m NIST and Nb/Al2O3/Nb from PTB, have been used to determine the evolu
tion of Zener references, both being compatible with our system. No di
screpancies within our uncertainty (18 parts in 10(9)) were observed w
hen, for a given reference, the arrays were interchanged. Moreover, pr
eliminary calibration results obtained at two other laboratories-in on
e of our references-show good agreement with our data.
