Abstract
A concept for the hybrid integration of a microwave oscillator with a Josephson series array has been developed to improve the measurement s etup of Josephson voltage standards and potentiometers. A stripline X- band oscillator using a packaged GaA's MESFET was designed, constructe d, and successfully tested at temperatures of 300 K and 4.2 K. To impr ove the impedance matching between oscillator and Josephson series arr ay, high-impedance striplines with integrated Josephson series arrays are useful.
