Hw. Vliegen et Vm. Cats, 19 YEARS SURVIVAL AFTER OCCLUSION OF THE LEFT MAIN CORONARY-ARTERY BYVIRTUE OF AN ANOMALOUS SEPTAL BRANCH, Catheterization and cardiovascular diagnosis, 29(4), 1993, pp. 283-284
This case presents a patient who survived 19 years with an occluded le
ft main coronary artery as a result of collateral flow to the anterior
wall from an anomalous septal branch arising from the right coronary
artery. The case illustrates that minor variations in coronary anatomy
may have important effects on the prognosis of a patient. (C) 1993 Wi
