Abstract
We have performed magnetooptical Kerr effect measurements with a pulse d high intensity dye laser. The pulse duration is 30 ps. A S/N ratio o f 10 per pulse is achieved. In a pump-probe experiment, the change of the Kerr signal has been measured as a function of the delay between d ie probing and the heating pulses.
