Abstract
The Lindbeck report includes a number of highly interesting proposals for how to reform economic policymaking in Sweden. The report emphasiz es the need to reform the political institutions so that these institu tions could better support necessary decisions with effects in the lon g run. This article comments on the proposals of the Lindbeck report. Further, there is an attempt made to provide an evaluation of the repo rt, in particular from a Finnish point of view.
