Abstract
A patient presented with circumferential loss of skin substance of low er quarter of leg. The patient's advanced age and the poor local condi tions could have produced an aleatory result for a flap graft. It was therefore decided to perform a shortening tibial osteotomy as a conser vative surgical procedure.
