Abstract
A theoretical analysis of the spontaneous self-destruction of chemical power sources (CPS) was carried out. A mathematical model of the proc ess in the form of a nonlinear differential equation system was elabor ated explaining the origin of the inner local heat source which can in itiate the self-destruction process during storage.
