Abstract
The technique of covariance mapping has been applied to time-of-flight spectroscopy of laser ablated ions from YBCO. The spatial analysis of the plume has been performed. In the geometry in which superconductiv e films are obtained we found a modulation of the ion cluster signal c orresponding to an oxygen atom capture.
