Abstract
A rare case of urethral flat wart caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 was reported. A 34-year-old male consulted our department wit h a complaint of urethral bleeding. A pair of symmetrical white flat w arts combined with ulcer at the urethral meatus were found. Microscopi c examination of the specimen demonstrated koilocytosis of the epithel ium. In immunohistochemical study it was positive for HPV and HPV type 16 was detected by polymerase chain reaction.
