Abstract
Information on the temperature dependence of the atomic correlation fu nctions in quasicrystals has been obtained from Mossbauer and high res olution neutron spectroscopies. A pronounced nonlinear decrease is obs erved at high temperature for the purely elastic contribution. This in dicates localized vibrational states within a length scale of about 10 angstrom.
