Abstract
A method is described for obtaining an accurate real-time measurement of the refractive index of liquids. It is based on a modification of t he Pulfrich refractometer. The optical arrangement is suitable for in- line industrial applications where a continuous measurement is require d. Some experimental results are presented which confirm the feasibili ty of the method.
