Abstract
A simple method of producing stable discharges with a turbulent field in an axial fast-flow CW-CO2 laser is reported. Design features and op erational characteristics of the laser are described. The system has p rovided an output power of 600 W with a beam divergence of 1.9 mrad an d an electro-optic efficiency of 14%.
