Abstract
This paper presents the experimental and numerical results of dissipat ed microwave power distribution in a microwave heating applicator with a water load Power density profiles predicted using a finite element model developed previously by the author, was shown to agree well with experimental measurements. Because of the well defined boundary condi tions of the experimental applicator, the experimental results can be used for verifying a wide range of numerical models.
