Abstract
(E)- and (Z)-Allylic tributyltins add to aromatic aldehydes to afford regioreversed alpha-adduct predominantly with almost complete retentio n of the stereochemistry of the allylic groups under photochemical con ditions. The photoinduced single electron transfer mechanism is propos ed.
