Abstract
A new type of layer matrix, called R matrix, was constructed on the ba sis of distance sums of vertices. This matrix was operated with two cl asses of operators: one of ''centricity'' (''c'') type and the other o f ''centrocomplexity'' (''x'') type, the last one taking into account the ''more important'' vertices in molecular graphs. The matrix invari ants are computed with a TURBO PASCAL, TOPIND 10 program for various e xamples, and finally an intercorrelating matrix is given for the propo sed topological indices in the set of heptane isomers.
